Butter Worms and Tomato Worms - Sites Needed

Hi Everyone.

I am interested in purchasing small horned tomato worms and some butterworms.

I am having a hard time locating these on the web, and was wondering if some of you could direct me to the sites you use most often to order your feeders.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Tomato/Tobacco worms and butterworms

you would be better served with the tomato/tobacco worms and silkworms over butter worms. Butterworms are irradiated before being imported into the country. They also eat only from the trevo plant or tree so they cant be fed or gutloaded. We have also found hornworm eggs to be good for people who need small worms. They hatch within 1-2 days of receipt, and you then can have very very small ones available. Smaller than the sizes that can be safely shipped. We have had good success selling eggs and chow. Because the worms grow so fast those extra fe days are crucial for having them at a small size. They can go from egg to 12+ grams in two weeks. However if you have larger animals also this shouldnt be a problem.

Thank you for your reply.

Are the silk worms more nutritious than the butter worms on average?

Silkworms

Yes they are. You want Japanese strains they are not so namby pamby like the Chinese strains. They are made of stronger stuff and do not die or succumb so easy.
