Recommended Enclosure Size: Pairs and trios can be kept in a 12x12x12 enclosure. Males should never be housed together. This semiarid species requires a substrate that holds some humidity (keep moist but not wet, and allow for dry patches)

Size: Central American banded gecko hatchlings are around 1-1.5 inches. Adults will reach about 4-5 inches from head to tail. This species has a lean build.

Age: Central American banded geckos are at least 4 weeks old when sold by Josh’s Frogs, at which time they are well established. It is estimated that these geckos live for 10-15 years in captivity.

Color/Pattern:
Central American banded geckos have a brown background with black outlined yellow bands or dark spots across their body.

Coleonyx mitratus?

Hello,

Do you still have any Coleonyx mitratus? If so, I would be interested in 2, provided they are feeding OK. Please let me know ASAP.

Thanks,

Peter (Fauna member rpetery05)
