Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

I make a joke about a 10' boa not looking like it was 10 feet and stupid people jump on it saying the post clearing stated it was a 2010.

10' means 10 feet
'10 means 2010
Ugh. Getting sick of seeing ads and posts like this. Didn't they learn anything in school?

I'm with you Steve. It's a pet peeve of mine too. I've been meaning to start a thread just like this one for a while, but hadn't gotten around to it.
Maybe this thread will prevent at least a few misuses of the ' lol

and I agree, people that don't know what the symbols mean really irritate me. I really think that anyone that can't learn how to spell shouldn't be able to use any type of keyboard..this includes cell phones..I can't stand when people put extra letters after a word...like heyyy. UGH! or when they can't spell a word or spell it wrong...like kewl. Jesus Christ, learn ENGLISH!
