Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.
I just bought 2 thermostats somebody on here and in the description they did not put that it only read celsius. What temp in celsius would be the best? Also how hard is it to get an exact temp in celsius? last question, these are 240v, what is the difference with that vs. 120v?
What? A voltage adapter? Voltage adapters convert one voltage to another. Since the U.S. uses 120V, you need an adapter that will downconvert the 240V thermostat to 120V. (I would not recommend plugging in your thermostat until you have an adapter.) Again, Google is your friend.
In the future, you'll want to be sure you know the voltage of the thermostat you're purchasing. The one you got was clearly meant for Europeans.
