Most of us who are looking to buy different herps like to browse through fauna everyday. I know I do. I find it hard to browse through the hundreds of ads in the boas/pythons section. There are just too many! If they were seperated it would be alot easier. Also they are not the same types/species. They really should be seperated. Granted most of these snakes do get large. It is my humble opinion that Faunaclassified should seperate the two types into their own sections for selling, trading, and the wanted pages.

We are an opinionated lot, us herpers. So feel free to leave your vote and post your repsonses.

Thanks

I think that by splitting them up into a boa section and a python section it would likely cause an added expense for the owner of this site. I also don't see the necessity or even the advantage for this. You say it is a pain to scroll through hundreds of ads, certainly there are not hundreds of ads which are added on each day - are there? I usually look around with in a time frame (each had has a listing date) or by seller.

I like the site the way it is for now. I know it had to take a lot of work to set up a site of this calibur and would probably take a lot of work to change over. As of now I do not think there is enough posts to warrant more catagories. If there start to be many more posts in the boa/python catagorie I would agree it would be a nice change. All in all this is one of my favorite sites. I do commend you Herpavian on contributing your ideas to the site. That is what makes a great community. I really like the group of herpers here for the most part. I am looking forward to many happy hours here.

HI GUYS,
IN ALL HONESTY, THERES MAYBE 10-15 BOID ADDS THAT ARE
ADDED EVERYDAY, AND THATS A GENEROUS NUMBER.
GOING THROUGH 10-15 ADDS DOESNT TAKE THAT MUCH TIME.
IF YOU SEPERATED BOAS AND PYTHONS I THINK IT WOULD JUST ADD ANOTHER UNEEDED "CLICK" WHEN ITS ALREADY EASY TO GO THROUGH THE SMALL NUMBER OF ADDS ADDED
EACH DAY.

GOD BLESS!

I think it should be seperated. No, it doesn't *need* to be now, as it isn't that large. But personally I have had quite a few websites throughout the last few years, and I have always found it much easier to change while small, instead of waiting til it gets huge.
I love this site, and many people do, and because of this, it is my opinion that it will only continue to grow, indefinately. I feel that seperating now, or soon will save WebSlave some headaches later on. I'm sure he has, but I know from my experiences, changing something this early may not be easy, but wait til you get 300 posts a day there, then its damn near impossible. Then even people that want the change, get upset because "they can't find it".

I also think that this will help people search for specific animals once the site does get bigger. If you are looking for a colombian boa (ie), you definatley don't want to weed through 200 ball python posts to find it.

Ok.. I have said my peice. Either way..webslave YOUR DOING EXCELLENT. I personally feel this would be a good change to do to make it easier on everyone when (NOT IF) but when this site gets huge.

Have an excellent day!
