Problem after posting a message?

PM reply took about 40 seconds so something is still not right.

I'm not able to post ads, when I hit submit I get a blank page and no ads when I refresh.

It is 2am in my programmer's time zone, so there is a good chance this won't get looked at for a while.

I believe I stumbled on the problem with the private messages. There is an option in the Tapatalk admin page called "PM push". I disabled that and it appears that the private messages are working properly again.

It appears that Tapatalk is having some real problems. Honestly, if it causes any more problems on this site, I may have to just pull it completely.

Still no luck with that problem with creating new threads, though. I disabled ALL Tapatalk options, and it made no difference.

That 500 error means that there is possibly something in one of the files that Sinan was testing that went south. Perhaps a parameter being passed is missing or incorrect, and the server cannot run the PHP file affected. Chances of me stumbling on that are pretty slim, to be honest.

This problem appears to be fixed.

Now as long as something new doesn't show up........

Apparently the problem was being caused by Tapatalk. The way this problem was fixed was by disabling a couple of functions in the Tapatalk interface for this site that was sending notifications to the Taparalk servers, but wasn't getting a response back. It seems they have fixed things on their end, so I have re-enabled those relevant functions.

Just a note that I am seeing a slight delay with thread creations as well as with replies. So this is apparently an artifact of having that Tapatalk code embedded in this site for mobile device users.

If it becomes a burden that outweighs the benefits, I can disable it again, of course, but you all would need to let me know if or when that point is reached.
