Video format attachments

There was an issue expressed in a thread whereby a member could not upload a video file as an attachment to a post. Although this site does not have the facility to play those video (and audio) formats natively, I have enabled the uploading of the most popular formats so they can at least be stored on my server for safe keeping and downloaded by interested members to view on their own PCs or mobile devices using their own utility programs.

If anyone has a file format not included or runs into any other snag uploading a file as an attachment, please contact me and I will review the possibility of adding that format to the list as well. Please provide the file size so I can determine the feasibility of what you are requesting.

I tried to upload an mp3 of the youtube video as a workaround in that recent thread, but that format wasn't allowed - I then tried converting to wav, but wav format was too large to upload. Thanks for fixing this so proactively!

There are always going to have to be file size limits, simply because my server does not have infinite disk space available. But if anyone has something that they can present a convincing case for increasing the limits, then I will see what I can do.
