Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Can't figure this out...
So I've been a member here for a few years, and I've been absent here and there. Some lengths longer than others. Well now I have a problem. I have a memory issue, happened do to head trauma, where I can't remember certain things. Social security numbers, emails, phone numbers, bank accounts, passwords etc, if I don't write important stuff down it could possibly be forgotten, unless they are written down in my note book. Well I lost my note book which had my fauna password and my old email password in it LOL I am currently logged in to fauna via TAPATALK and I hate the app! I can't update my info, I can't do proper searches, and my old threads won't open fully so I'm repeating questions I already asked... bad memory thing. I want to get rid of TAPATALK but that would mean I would have to create another account. Can I do that with out violating the rules? Is there anyway of breaking into my info and retrieving my password?
Oh and mods, if this is not the proper spot for this please fill free to move it.

No, you cannot create a new account without violating the rules...and, no, we cannot break into your account to get your password. Password recovery is automated, and your password will be sent to the email attached to your account.

I presume from this thread that you have also lost access to your email account used to register here? If so, use the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page and send me some sort of verification (old email address, etc. will do) that this is actually your account. I cannot recover passwords (the info is encrypted in the database) but I can reset it to a known value and provide that password to you.
Once you get into your account, change your password and change the email address to what you are currently using, and WRITE DOWN that info, please.
