i am selling my 1985 suburban k10 suburban 4x4. has about 50,000 miles on rebiult 350 v-8, the truck is used on my deer lease, but lost the bid on it this year. so the trucks gotta go. it does need a little bit of work, but still runs and drives. *the good stuff* the truck has a 6" superlift suspension lift system. has a new front axle, and rear axle is rebiult w/ new bearings etc. (both axles are 10-bolt w/ 3.42 stock gears) it has only 2500 miles on the transmission. the transfer case is newly rebiult as well. the 4wd works flawlessly, and i have a folder of receipts adding up to over 9000.00 in this dang truck. alot of parts have been replaced. ( i have receipts on everything) the tires are 35x15.5x15 swamper TSL's, and wheels are eagle alloy 589's 15x10's.
*the Bad* the last time i had it out on the lease, i got jammed up in some nasty mucky mud. and while i was trying to grudge through it, the transmission servo cover popped off. the transmission fluid then leaked out and i noticed some smoke. i then shut it down, and later pulled it out and towed it home on a flat-bed. i re-intalled the servo cover, filled up the transmission, and proceeded to test drive it. i then noticed that the transmission did not shift into the upper gears correctly. i beleive i burned up a clutch pack or something. this has a 700r4 tranny, and if you know anything about chevy trannies, u know this one is the cheapest, and easiest to rebiuld. or go pick one up at a junkyard. also, the rear window is missing. about 8 months ago, i was on a trail, and reversed into a tree limb that shattered it. thats about all the negatives of the truck.
