Question CB, CBB, WC, LTC, terms in the reptile world.

I saw a discussion about the terms: CB, CBB and WC on a Facebook reptile forum.

In this discussion There is conflict of understanding and the difference between CB and CBB.

CBB Captive bred and born

CB Captive Bred

Are these two terms the same or not?

Or is it abbreviation for what ever you want it to be?

I just need some clarification on this if someone can help me out here.

Thanks

The two terms are interchangeable. CBB is sort of a redundancy. Some people consider CB to be captive bred, and others think of it as captive born. The assumption in either case being that the breeding that produced the animal occurred in captivity, so they are the same thing.
This is as opposed to CH (captive hatched) which apparently wasn't part of the discussion. CH is an animal born in captivity from a breeding that occurred in the wild.
