Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

what tricks is everyone using?!?!?!?!?!
ok I need to know the secrets.......how in the world do you get younger males interested in breeding? My clown and enchi are well big enough to breed but show absolutely no interest!
HELP!!!!!!!

they can be 800 grams,and show no interest..are they producing plugs?it varies on males..i have a november 2011 male albino het clown that is 450 grams producing plugs and breeding.my male super pastel het clown is 2010 and just now producing plugs..no real secret,its just up to them.have you tried putting another female shed in with them?or trying more females?

they all are different, so go early and then later with size,,all males are different when time to go....give some time u be good for this coming season...

My yellow belly male waited for 4 years too...I waited for him.
As Mark and Brian already pointed out, they just go when they go. This past season, I had an 10 month old male start breeding before my 4 year old YB showed any interest.

my male clown is producing plugs but I have not checked my enchi yet. what is with the female shed? I can put him in his tub with a female shed and that may spark interest? Is there anything I can do to up my odds?

yeah sometimes females release pheomone-(maybe not the right spelling) when she sheds.yes fresh damp shed works well..i have done it several times.and have you tried misting the females tub?
