Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.
Our home renovation work has been finished, and my geckos and I can go home on Sunday. I wiped everything with wet cloth and let all the windows opened for a few days, but as I walk in the house, I can still smell the paint; not extremely strong, but I can smell it. I think the residue smell can only fade with time.
My geckos live in open glass tanks, is the smell of paint toxic to them?
If it is a laytex based paint there should be no problem at all..... Usually paint fumes are non-toxic especially if it has been drying for a while.....
