Had a clutch of Angola pythons (Python anchietae) hatch last month and produced some really nice patterns from an unrelated adult pair that had not bred before. I have one of the most diverse breeding groups of Angola pythons in the country and strive to outcross and produce young from as unrelated adults as possible, and am currently working with adult breeders from 5 different sources across the U.S. This breeding group has been consistently producing some of the nicest Angola pythons available in the U.S. for many years with respect to both color and pattern. Angola pythons always hatch with a very dark chocolate background pattern, but always color-up significantly over their first year or two with each subsequent shed. The third photo is an individual from a 2020 clutch produced here, illustrating the typical color change within the first couple of years. All neonates are feeding very well on rat fuzzies or small mice.
As a personal policy to ensure vigorous and genetically robust hatchlings, I never manually pip any python eggs. They must pass the test of piping the egg and extracting themselves on their own.
*** Photos of all available neonates can be sent on request ***
I currently only have males available and they are priced at $500 each.
