Baby Crickets growing REALLY slowly

My baby crickets (1st time breeder) are a month old now, and they’re only about 1/4 inch. Is it because I don’t have a heat source? I’m feeding them all my spare veggies. potatoes, carrots, lettuce etc. I raised adult crickets all the time and i’ve done a pretty good job, but i can’t seem to make em put on weight!

They do well at about 90 degrees, and I would try a ground up cereal/grain for food. Make sure they have a good clean water supply, but the fresh vegies may be enough h20. Most petshops sell a variety of cricket food, but get the ground up grain.
