Carpet Shedding Issue

I have a yearling male IJ carpet python and for whatever reason he refuses to shed on his own! The last two sheds I have had to take off for him. He wont even start the shed! I've tried soaking him both times to try and encourage him to shed but two days later he's still not started shedding by himself. i'm seriously getting concerned now! his temps are 95 hotspot, 80-82 cool side (he has an aboreal cage). I keep humidity at 65-70 percent during shedding. He's eating fine, no recent changes in sorroundings. I've had him since he was 5 months old. He's shed fine in the past so I have no idea what's causing him to do this. Any ideas?

My humidity with my arboreals is normally around 60 to 70% all the time, but come shed time
I usually saturate my cages with my pump sprayer, once they go from opague to clear, before the shed, so one or two nights before they shed my humidity is between 90 and 100%
