MALE WILL TRY AND MATE ANY CHANCE THEY GET lol... SOMETIMES NON OVUL;ATING FEMALES WILL LET THE MALE MATE AND OTHER TIMES NOT. WHY? I DON'T KNOW BUT I HAVE SEEN THIS

Does ovulation stimulate male breeding?

surely it helps to stimulate them more (because of pheromones) than normal but in my experience most males woulf screw in a light bulb if given the chance hehe
some females will not let the male mate until she is ready.. i saw on of my females litterally lay flat on her belly legs flat with her tail flat against the fl;oor.. i swear you couldnt have pried it up off there and he was unable tp mate her... she wouldnt stand up and would not pick up her tail to expose her cloaca to him, however he kept trying and a couple days later i saw mating sucess.. so i guess he got her in the mood and stimulated her.
it seems to me that sometimes *not all the time) the male can stimulate the female into ovylating (sorta like in snakes) but females will ovulate without the presence of a male and will sometimes drop infertile eggs, even not being mated or exposed to a male at all... other ovulate nothing happens and they ovulate again later in the year (sometimes you will see this in females too small to safley mate but their body says they ARE mature enough)
