new addition

well i picked up another new ball python today . this little guy is 100% het for orange ghost(hypo). he was bred locally by a guy that used to manage the reptile department at the petshop i work at . his parents are a female het for orange ghost and an orange ghost male . he weighs in at 265 grams and is 26 inches long . i wasnt planning to get another one , but i really like the orange hypos . all i need to do now is find me a nice het orange ghost female for bargain basement pricing . i got a few pics before putting him in his new home to settle . they arent the best as he's a couple days away from shedding and he really doesnt have any outstanding markings to speak of . anyways , heres the pics .

hope yall enjoy .

nice looking guy! hope his babies turn out really nice!
if a snake is big enough for rat pups, usually an adult mouse can be around the same size. My male always ate adult mice, even when he was about 160 grams when i first got him. I am not sure on what size is best for newborns, but the breeder I got him from was feeding him live adults. balls are not as difficult as corns, who have to start with pinks.

most bp neos can eat small to medium mice or rat fuzzies as soon as they are eating .

Nice new little one, Mark.

The hypos are neat by themselves, and have a lot of potential when crossed with other morphs, as well.
