Exclamation Silkworms are making cocoons!

Uhm, I can't figure out how to upload my picture... has that option been disabled?

Are there any special requirements to help them hatch from cacoons?

Do the moths need to be put in a new container?

How do you find, then move eggs to petri dish?

I've read, but their are no thorough caresheets that I can find.

How long are they in the cocoon?

How many eggs do they lay?

Both questions can depend on conditions such as temperature, humidity feeding of the worms before pupation
Bigger worms usually make bigger female moths that lay more eggs, of course after mating.
good luck

Can you answer the questions in the first post too? Thanks so much if you can, I was also wondering if you can refridgerate them and they go dormant?

Well the cocoons just leave them be at room temp and they will be moths.
Put the moths in a new container let them breed and wait for the eggs.
If the eggs are dropped move them like you would anything small , if they are attached leave them be and move the caterpillers when they hatch.
These guys are a great high calcuim addition to the diet of most lizards, of course when I raise them I use them for T's
Peace man
