Gold dust day geckos

Hi! I'm new here! So I'll start out by saying I started in saltwater. I quickly became obsessed with coral. My dream was to have a huge reef tank....but then reality set in....its super expensive and lots of maintenance.
We are currently building a house and staying with my mother in law. So my 40 gallon saltwater tank has been dwindling down and now it's a 10 gallon
Since I have the need to be working on a tank I've created a "paludarium" it's a 60 gallon tank with a divider, half land and half water, driftwood, real plants and a waterfall. I have 2 firebelly toads along with endlers and neon fish.
I love this tank! The frogs are quite enjoyable. I already have ideas for a better layout.
So here comes my new idea. I will have the space for about a 150 gallon tank. I've come across the gold dust day geckos, they look so beautiful! So I'm thinking about a tropical tank with waterfall, flowering plants and a small group of neons in the water.
So my question is, can the geckos go in a tank with water? I currently have floating plants for my frogs, and I would do the same for the geckos.
Can geckos be housed with other animals? Any other ideas?

I do recall some dendro keepers that had a large water area in their largest terrarium, along with fish in the water section they kept day geckos and dart frogs. If that would qualify for gold dusts I do not know.

I should have said "Dendroboard" keepers. Sure that could have been confusing. Also should have said "along with the fish in the water section, they kept day geckos and dart frogs in the same terrarium"

Haha! I understood what you meant! I'm just worried about the geckos drowning

I have heard of people experiencing decent results in large enough multi-species paludariums before. Most people chose tinier species for the sake of space if I recall correctly, but the principles should work similarly.
