Considering his very strategic and influential position, he would want

He would further want our identity and yours to remain undisclosed

of this circle at least for now, untill the completion of the
transaction.
We desire to have an overseas agent in order to make a smooth transfer
without
hitch.

I therefore take this opportunity to inquire if you would agree to act

our overseas agent in order to actualize this transaction.

The deal, in brief, is that the funds with which we intend to carry out
our proposed investments in your country is presently in a Suspense
Coded
account at the Nigerian Revenue Control Board (i.e. The National
Revenue
Allocation & Fiscal Commission) NRA&FC all we need is your assistance
to
transfer the funds to your country in the best convinient means to you
provided
that you will be faithfull to the letter of this proposal.

For this, you shall be considered to have executed a contract for the
Federal
Ministry of Petroleum Resources in Nigeria for which payment should be
effected
to you by the Ministry, The contract sum shall be US$17.4 Million, of
which
your share shall be 20% if you agree to be our overseas agent.

As soon as payment is effected, and the amount mentioned above is
successfully
transferred into your account, we intend to use our own share in
acquiring
some estates / property abroad. For this, you shall be expected to
serve
as our agent in the acquisition of this properties and purchase of
shares
/ Bonds into companies. In the light of this, I would like you to
forward
to me the following information:

1.Your company name and address if any (Personal)
2.Your personal fax number
3.Your personal telephone number for easy communication.

You are requested to communicate your acceptance of this proposal
through

Well, I think there are 2 types of Nigerian/African scams -

I've gotten emails similar to those above for YEARS (before I ever had snakes). Usually just spammer trying to troll for people gullible enough to provide their bank account info in return for helping some African prince transfer money. Anybody can get those, they're much like the Viagra or whatever other spam you receive.

The really funny ones are those scammers who troll sites with reptile/animal ads and reply to those ads, like our dear Kimbi. Anyone else have funny Kimbi-like stringalong stories lately? Heh heh heh

Please If I reach you as I am hopeful, endeavor to get back to me as soon as possible to enable the immediate execution of your portion of the bequest to enable earlier disbursement by the Paying Bank.

You should forward along your telephone and fax numbers, including a proof to confirm your identity as the beneficiary in question and your current mailing address if different from the above. Proof of Identity should be either clergy ID or International passport or drivers License. On demand I would send you the Obituary notice of Late Willy Bubenik for your perusal and maybe you would recognise him .I hope to hear from you in no distant time.
