Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Overweight Juvie
Hi,
I think my juvenile Beardie (from the estimate I made when I first I got him I think he's about 10 months old) is a bit overweight. I was just wondering if any one had any advice on ways to slim him down.. I've adjusted his feeding from when he was really young but he hasn't seemed to lose any weight. Are there certain foods I can feed him that would help?
Thanks

Also I thought he had be growing a lot length wise but I've been looking at growth charts etc. and people are saying that for the age that he should be, he should be much longer than he is.. he's 10.5 inches long. I feed him calcium with vitamin D dusted crickets, occasional meal worms, still some occasional store bought pellets. For vegetables I feed him Endive, Collard Greens, Spinach, Romaine, occasional carrots, red swiss chard and riddichio.

Yes and 101 grams seems underweight
As for greens at that age should still mostly be insects like 70/30% or even 80/20%
I use crickets as a staple then dubia 2-3 days and super 2-3 days and horned/silkworms 1-2 days if you raise your insects right you won't have to dust to much I use bug burger green for the adults everyday and under 15 months 5 out of 7 days
For the dragons under 15 months I use either a powersun bulb or a reptisun 10.0 with a flood lamp for heat basking spots 105 ish
Very one is different but that's what works for me

All good info! I'm glad you mentioned the percentage of protein vs greens because awhile ago was looking for how long I was supposed to keep the percentage and about what age I should start switching him over to more greens... because everyone posts what adults need and what babies need but not the switching period! so any advice on that too? for future reference as he grows
He's in a 50 gallon (38x18x17) then for light he has the Reptiglow 10.0 and a 60watt both in lamps.
Also, what is bug burger green?
