Thank you so much for all of the input, from all of the pic references it does look very very similar to a Mexican bull snake, you guys are the greatest

I am definitely no expert, but it looks like a cross between a bull and pine to me.

Haha Alicia! And I didn't even thing about it being a captive snake. Most of the identification questions I get are for locally caught animals. Guess it goes to show you to never assume anything, lol.
