Ominous technology, implanted memories.

It appears that privacy is rapidly declining, and that the changing legal climate and manipulated press shapes human beings into mere hamsters on the wheel of business, working to fund the powerful and wealthy.
I think there has always been that tendency, the powerful always seem to want increasing power.
There are those who object to total control and want personal freedom to live their lives and provide for their families the way they see fit.
It seems to me that the following is the dawn of technology that will in a few generations, allow big business and big government to take care of all those pesky objections and consolidate their control by simply inserting memories that business and government deem more appropriate.

As with anything it could be used for good and bad. The good side could include maybe curing mental illness, Parkinson disease, seizures.

On side note, I believe the more we fix disease the quicker we come towards our own destruction though. We are only species that does not live by survival of the fittest. That will eventually bring us down.
