Big baby.

Haven't posted in a really long time, but here's the second baby of the year, hatched about, oh, an hour ago. From an albino dad and a super hypo tang mom. His sibling's coming out of the egg right now.

I've never had that big of a hatchling before.

Sorry if the pics are too big, btw.

No, sadly, I don't.

Here's his sibling.

BTW, pay no attention to the date an time on the pictures, I need to set my camera properly. :P

That's a really big baby. Was the albino dad a giant?

Not that I know of, no. He's big, but not near the giants I've seen. I'd say about 8 inches long, maybe a wee bit more.

Is it possible to have a giant from two apparently normal parents?

The first hatchling is big, too, but not that big. He's about the same size as the sibling (last pic).

I'm thinking of keeping that little guy now. :P

Pictures again Next to a quarter for size.

The 'sibling', second one hatched.

First one hatched.

Next to a hand for comparison :P

Love the little guys. They're only a day old, and I'm sure they're tired of getting their picture taken already.

But yeah, question, could he be a giant, or just a big baby? I've only worked with easily seen morphs, e.g. blizzard X blizzard, or normal X normal, so I had no idea what the babies would look like this time. Can you tell giant from normal when they're that young, or is it only when they're older? I've only seen a full grown giant once, so...

Anywho, sorry for the blabbering. I'm always picture-happy when hatching time arrives
