Rolling over

I just saw my tegu roll over much like a croc does to tear meat off of prey. The tegu was not eating anything at the time. It was simply lying on the substrate like it was basking, and then it rolled once. Any ideas what this indicates if anything or why s/he would do this?

This is a warning

This is a warning often followed by a puffing sound gaping mouth that is usualy the last before a bite.

haha, im sorry i just loved lumberjacks reply..that was amusing..although i do personally believe that is just your tegu being grouchy...my tegu has done that 3 times, one of which, when a person hed never met before was holding him, and the other where on a leash experiance gone wrong...ive heard of leashes working, but my tegu didnt make much progress in the couple hours i worked with him on it..anyways..all i got to say...Darren.
