Feeling better now

Cochina is starting to look and act better now. I froze her one weekend when her thermo failed. Hectic work schedule caused it to slip by for a whole cold weekend. She relapsed her RI, but now that I got her on a good heat source and thermo, it seems to have kicked it out of her.

Not to mention she's putting on some weight, and starting to look like a Boa again.

Purty, ain't she.
Thank for looking!
Rick

Yeah she is.

She is pretty, what is she Pastel, Anery, Hypo? Good luck beating that RI man.

No babies from the other two yet?

She's an Isla de Cochina Boa. Hog Islands, Honduras. I rescued her back in September. Always wanted one too. Maybe I'll find a male while there are still some pure lineages left.

Thanks for the comps!
Rick

Oh Yeah. Nope. No babies yet. They're enjoying my pain I think.

Thanks dude. I'm liking her a bunch so far. She darkens up before shed and has a bunch more color come out. It's cool in person.

And, I feel honored My Hog girl provoked a response from you after 15 months of membership.

She is a really really nice looking Hog. Good deal getting her back in good health after the stat failure. How big is she btw?

Hey Randy,
She's 4½ to 5 ft, and about 2000 grams last time I checked. Nor sure what is "appropriate" for these guys, but just looking at her, I'd say she's just about where she should be girth to length ratio wise. I think. ?????

Thanks for the praise!
Rick

Rick, I think she looks great!! Has a lot of good coloration. Do you have any breeding plans for her?

I'm hoping to get a nice Sears male for her. Maybe this year, or next. If I find the right one that is. LOL

I'll breed her some day provided she sticks to her current course.

Thanks for the comps!
