Best substrates for hogs?

any opinions? I have long worked with carefresh with all kinds of animals, mostly rodents, but how is it for snakes? anything better? I always have problems fully cleaning up poop and messes with most substrates.

I use aspen for my hognose snakes. They prefer a substrate they can burrow in.
Care fresh might be fine, I know several breeders that use it in their collections. I don't because of the expense considering the number of cages and racks I have in use.
