Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

I'm looking for a very large, very tame monitor for use in educational programs in New York City. All neccessary permits have been obtained to keep these animals in New York. Willing to pay $1750 for a water monitor, up to $1000 for a black throat depending on size. Pictured demonstrating temperament will be needed. Will be very well cared for and will spend the rest of its life being enjoyed by thousands of people! If you know anybody with such a specimen who may be willing to part with it for a large sum of cash, please pass this message along, it will be greatly appreciated and will be in support of a good cause.
