Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Hi all,
I have a new digital camera and I plan on using it aplenty this summer to post some pictures.
However, I have stacks of really great 35mm photos that I would like to scan to capture digitally.
My question is; is it really worth it? Will I be able to capture these photos with any quality? How much do I need to spend on a scanner to really do this decently?
