Orange County -- Warming lamps being used for pet snakes started a garage fire early Saturday in eastern Orange County, according to Orange County Fire Rescue.
Emergency workers were called to the home on Briar Bay Circle about 12:40 a.m., with reports of flames and smoke coming from the home. Firefighters quickly doused the blaze, with limited damage, said spokesman Frank Raike.
The owner of the home, who was not identified, was treated for smoke inhalation on the scene but did not need further treatment. There were no other injuries.
"We had no loss of life, animal or human," Raike said.
Investigators have ruled the fire accidental.
