Bags vs. Delis for Hatchling BPs?

I'm getting ready to order shipping supplies, and I'm wondering what would be better for hatchling BPs....I've recieved them both ways so I wasn't sure which to order.

Thanks,
Shelly

They can be packed securely either way...I prefer deli cups for babies.

What size deli cup do you use?

I was just thinking this the other day. I've used bags but I'm starting to lean towards delicups after having received snakes packed tight in bags with the heat pack laying directly on them.

Of course, I don't just throw the heat pack in there, but the last package I received had the cold pack taped but at some point I assume the box was upside down, the snake urinated and wetted the tape, resulting in the cold pack falling down when flipped back upright before arrival.

I've always used bags, but am starting to use deli cups this year just to see how it goes. I'm using the 16 oz. 4.5" prepunched clear cups from TSK supply. They'll easily hold a ball python hatchling plus some sort of substrate. I'm not sure if it's necessary, but I use electrical tape pulled tightly around the top rim to seal.

Trick question. Depends on the size of the baby

For shipment between 1 to 2 hatchlings under 150/200 grams I generally use a 32 oz deli cup (6.75 inches diameter), if the order is bigger or the animals are larger I use bags.
