Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Just take a look at this world we live on and the solar system in general. Obviously the universe is not the nice safe and orderly state of being we would hope it would be. Why are the tectonic plates on this planet still moving around? Why does the earth have a wobble to it? Why have entire civilizations seemingly vanished? What caused the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter? Why does the moon look like swiss cheese? What made the rings around Saturn?
There is lots of evidence of extremely violent events having taken place in our past, not only on this planet but in our solar system. And it appears that most people are studiously ignoring the probability that such events can happen again. Perhaps the thought that things COULD happen that all the resources of this entire planet would be completely powerless to stop unnerves people.
Heck for that matter, why did some ancient peoples worship the planets before telescopes were even invented so that they could determine those specs of light were not just other stars? And even if they had rudimentary telescopes, so what? Were their gods named after those little specs of light in the sky or visa versa? Regardless, why would those specs of light even gotten anyone's attention? Can most people today even point out Jupiter in the night sky? How many people even care, much less would even think of worshipping such things?

I have a hard time programming the remote! lol. I do know the wobble is called Chandler wobble though.
