No one in their right mind wants a potentially sick anything. As I stated, this was to see if there was even a market for them. I will contact those interested when I have time, not when YOU require it. And only after they are feeding well and have made it through a shed. I will just give them all to the rescue if you can't play nice. I didn't expect the babies to be healthy from a WC mom, it was just a personal project.

This is a federally protected species you're trying to sell you know that right? These animals should be in the hands of someone who knows how to care for an animal that is so notorious for doing so poorly in captivity....It's a shame to see that these are just going to be distributed out to people and sold rather than do what's right for them but that's the nature of the pet trade I supposed, make a buck rather than look out for the animals best interest.

You are incorrect, 100% of the way. This is NOT a federally protected species:
http://ecos.fws.gov/ecp0/profile/spe...ofile?sId=7732

They are also not considered endangered by any means. They are, in fact, a "least concern" animal according to the IUCN Red List, the database used to determine threatened species:
http://www.iucnredlist.org/details/64072/0

Further, this is a buy and sell forum. Do not try to push your subjective morality based on incorrect information in this forum. I am only responding because whether or not they are protected is relevant to the buying and selling of the animal; and your claim that they are could be detrimental to commerce. These are perfectly acceptable to be sold.

Sorry my bad its a state protected species not federally but if you were from texas or grew up there you'd know how badly these have been affected. You used to be able to find them everywhere and now they're almost impossible to find in most of their range.

And to be clear I'm not the person that runs that FB group, I'm someone that is from Texas and knows how hard these are to keep and that you claim you are apart of a rehab group but you're trying to sell them rather than give them to someone or an organization that will take care of them.

http://tpwd.texas.gov/landwater/land...gered_species/

"Texas Parks and Wildlife Department said that, "In 1967 the Texas Legislature protected horned lizard because they knew that horned lizards don't do well in captivity and then in 1977 they were put on the Threatened and Endangered Species list in Texas."
