Adoptable Tegu at Santa Barbara shelter

I am a volunteer at the Santa Barbara animal shetler. Two weeks ago a stray tegu was found downtown. No one has claimed her(?), despite her healthy appearance and calm temperment. I'm pretty sure it is an Argentinian black and white. It is currently adoptable, and I'd love to find her a home asap. The shelter doesn't have tegu housing, so she's crowded and bored.

Would they be able to ship?

Unfortunately, the shelter has a pick-up only policy.

Also, I was going to post the happy news today that the tegu has found a home. Thank you for your interest though!
