Haplopelma hainanum (LIANG ET. AL., 1999), “Hainanum Island Giant Black Earth Tiger”,(B/F/A/V,D), found on Hainan Island, off the southeastern coast of China. As the name suggests, this spider's coloration ranges from dark brown to black. One of the largest terrestrials from Asia growing to 8”.. Very stocky with a white “mustache”! Venom might prove to be medically significant, so not for minors/beginners.

Haplopelma schmidti “Chinese Giant Gold Earth Tiger”,(B/F/A/V,D), Awesome! One of the largest Asian terrestrials, grows to 8” with stocky legs, nice coloration, has a white “mustache” around the fangs! Not for beginners due to potent venom and bad temper.

A MONSTER of a centipede. Dark body (burgundy-red), dark red legs and a dark red head and dark red terminal legs. Very large-growing and stocky. Similar build to a S. gigantea.
