advice please

hi,
first post woohoo,
i have a pair of Mexican Rosy Boas that weren't brumated over winter, but as you can see:

i have a feeling the lady may be gravid.....lol

any second ,third or even fourth opinions would be welcomed,
she's gone off her feed and all she does is lie on her hot spot all day leading me to suspect the inevitable.
if the consensus is that she is actually gravid(i'm quite confident she is but you know how it is...lol) any idea how long i have left to she gives birth as obviously this is unplanned and and i don't know when they got it on.
she's been off food now for about 4 weeks, and has been lying in the warm area for about the same time.

any replies would be gratefully appreciated....

I don't have any experience with gravid rosies, but that's a beautiful snake!

Sounds like she is gravid to me. Mexican Rosy Boas are breeding machines and they often breed inspite of not being intentionally cooled. It is thought by many that the subtle differences in temp, berametric preasure, and hours of daylight between the seasons is often enough to cue these animals into breeding mode. I have a beautiful amelanistic male Whitewater that was what I thought to be a sub-adult. I did not cool him, and fed him throughout the winter because I wanted to use him in my projects (he is very nice looking). Anyway, come spring, and he went off food and started to appeare quite restless. I put him in with my big 37 inch Female and he bred her like a champ. He also bred my prettiest amel female as well. They are now both gravid. I do not know when she will give birth, but I can tell you that the mexican subspecies not only breeds very easily but it usually breeds earlier than the other subspecies also. My mexicans bred in march. You could have babies as early as July.
