I would be surprised if that gecko was older than a few weeks to a month old (a weight would be helpful). It's not fresh out of the egg because of the spots that have already been coming in, but it's still very young/small. I would not call it a juvie, but I don't know if there is a set weight/age for hatchling vs juvie. It's possible that some people think hatchling means a week or less. Hard to say. To me, if it's too young to sex, it's still a hatchling.

Also, as Julia mentioned, geckos from wholesalers are not good to use as breeders. You need to know all the genetics and not just the visual morph. Having the parents backgrounds is pretty important when starting a breeding project with leopard geckos.

You did mention buying a juvie with the hopes of breeding it in two months. If you want to breed that quickly, I would suggest buying an adult and breeding after quarantine is over. A typical juvie would not be ready to breed that quickly.

Then no, you did not get what you ordered (my post above with breeding still stands with that though).

Also just wanted to add I guess I should have said twords the end of the season instead of saying July! They aren't going to be for sale it's more of my own breeding project for fun maybe selling a couple but more for pets .. The rest of my geckos I know all the information about them this is the only one where I don't know full genetics witch I stated I thought I would be getting that! I didn't realize what type of breeders they were my brother in law failed to mention you don't get any info with them!
