As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

what is the difference between the leachianus and the chahoua geckos? Sorry, just curious. I'm just getting into crested geckos for the time being just want to gain some information.

MUCH larger than chahouas. Leachianus is the largest known species of gecko still in existence. The chahoua is much more comparable in size to a crested or gargoyle, with a leachianus having the potential (depending on locality) of exceeding 12"+ snout to tail length. Care for all rhacodactylus species is similar, but leachianus do tend to prefer more fruit in their diets (to be provided in the form of Repashy's Gecko Diet). Leachies are also thought to be extremely long-lived, with the potential for exceeding 30 years in age. If you're looking into a leachianus, be prepared for a larger cage requirement and a long-term commitment. FYI- leachianus have also been known to get a bit nippy at times, especially the females. They can be tamed down fairly easily with regular handling, but a bite from a full-grown leachie can be an unpleasant surprise if you're not expecting it. Lastly, the babies require a higher humidity than other Rhacodactylus species --- baby leachianus should be housed in glass terrariums with glass tops. If they are kept too dry, they can actually become disoriented and have a hard time finding their food.
