I've heard that the southern ringnecks from Florida will eat things like rosy red minnows offered in a shallow dish or left flopping in the tank. They are also supposed to take worms. Many ringnecks will also take frogs and salamanders, but I haven't heard any first hand reports of southern ringnecks taking amphibians.

they mostly eat insects like earthworms, crickets, and grasshoppers they can eat small minnow like alice said and i belive small feeder goldfish.and the way i find if it is a male or female usually males have a pink flap of skin on the base of its tail and males get much more agressive than females
