Humid Hides

Hey guys...what size of a rubbermaid would I need to make a hide that is comfortable for an adult leo?

Also...spagnum moss is fine for them, yes?

Thanks in advance!

I use 1.4 qt for single females and 8 qt for groups of up to 1.3, peat moss, cocoa nut husk, or vermiculite are probably the most commonly used substrates.

The cool-whip container sized ones are perfect. Sphagnum moss or paper towel either one is works great. Sometimes the little boogers tend to dig the moss out and spread it all over the enclosure, so I personally prefer paper towel.

Ah, okay..thanks guys. If I used paper towel would that preclude it from possibly being used to lay eggs in?

There is certainly a chance they will reject the paper towel as a laying medium. If you are wanting it to double as a lay box then use any of the mediums that Xavier listed.
