Question "Sand Cricket" - Looks like wind scorpion/sun spider?

Hey there, I'm no bug person but I've stumbled across a strange species up here in Wyoming - The locals call it a "sand cricket" although it looks more like one of those sun spider/wind scorpion-things. Its aggro, fast, (doesn't hop), legs look like a spider's, thick abdomen, killer jaws, and yellow-ish in color... What the heck am I looking at here? Or has anyone heard of these Sand crickets?
Thanks;
-Sara

Gordon c. Snelling
Solpugid

It is almost certainly a Solpugid or as they are often called a "wind scorpion" of not a true scorpion at all.

Just so you know if Gordon is correct. I'm almost sure they have no venom, but with jaws like they have who needs it! I have a friend that was bitten by one in Tucson, hurts like hell venom or not.
