So we have Sweating eggs, Bad Egg, Good Eggs what about the Furry Eggs?

Thought it would be helpful to show an example of a molding egg. Good example for an egg that had an embryo die in the early stages of incubation. Found the eggs a little late, didn’t expect one of my first time breeders to lay eggs a little less than 2 weeks in. They were fertile but dented in pretty bad when I found them, now kind of glow a muddy color with a light tint of green. (YUM)

If you have some pictures of furry eggs why not post them. (wish I could have gotten a better picture of the spores)

If you would have caught me two weeks ago I would have taken a picture of mold growing on an infertile egg for the group of pictures with all the other egg shots I took this week. I threw them out last week though... bummer.

That's a nice picture you got too, but you can't see the fuzzyness too much. It's unfortunate that you got mold on a fertile egg though... would have prefered to happen to an infertile egg though.

I was pretty sure these were infertile but I incubated them just in case and alas the mold. I always put my I think they are infertile in a seperte container and these are pretty fuzzy and now in the trash.

It actually wasnt furry/fuzzy more of growing spores first, looks weird.



LOL thats where they started. I would have rather them to have been infertile as well.

Kim, I like the nail color.... Oh and the spores on the egg is pretty cool too....LOL

Ah, the variety of molding. Great pics guys. Anyone have a couple photos of some freshly laid infertile eggs? That would be helpful to some others as well.

All of my eggs have been fertile so far this year.....

Wendy, that looks like an egg for an alien or something! Wow thats alot of fur!
