Ninia sebae
Redback Coffee snake
*Very Rare*
These incredibly unique snake is found throughout Oaxaca Mexico down through Central America into Costa Rica. It is a terrestrial species of snake that reaches a max length of approximately 15 inches. They spend most of their time cruising through the leaf litter in search of its next meal. Not only is this animal beautiful but the pattern of this snake is to mimic that of the venomous coral snake in its region. Despite them looking like a venomous snake they are very much so harmless. The diet for this species consists of primarily earthworms and the occasional snail or slug. They seem to do better houses in a bio-active or naturalistic setup with live plants and layer of leaf litter to better replicate its natural environment.
