Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Sand boa sexing
I just adopted a 3 year old female sand boa. She seems a bit small for her age (only 14") and I'm wondering if that's normal. I thought perhaps it could be a male. Comparing vent shots online it does look like a female but I thought I might ask you guys what you think. I took a pic, not sure if this helps. Let me know if another angle would work better:

14" would be small for a 3 year old female. Have you tried popping or probing? From the picture it "looks" like a male with the appearance of spurs, tail width, and scale count.

Thanks. I'm not experienced in probing but I might bring her to a reptile meeting in my area and see if I can get some help there. Not sure I'm ready to try that myself yet.
