health question

The other day i checked on one of my female normals ands saw that she had long watery mucus coming out of her mouth. It also had alittle blood in it. I thought it was ri but she has no wheezing. I put her in quarenteen and she ate a rat. So my question is do you guys think it is random or should i take her to a vet even though she is eating? It has happened before it comes ands goes. Anyone have this

any odd fluid (with blood!!) from the mouth needs to be checked by a reptile vet.

There doesn't have to be wheezing and lack of appetite for it to be a respiratory infection or any other type of illness. Once a snake actually gets to that point, it's a very sick animal. If something's going on, and it sounds like there is, it's better to nip it in the bud before it gets any worse.
