Personally I dont believe in "cooling" or forced brumation of any BCI
form.
HOG Island BCI are of Central American origin and for the most part start breeding later in the season then the Colombian BCI ssp.
Time wise its around Feb/March for the majority of the lower 48 US.
Females should be a least 3 full years of age and males up wards of 18-24 months.
We feed conservatively thru gestation as well maintain cooler then
average temps suggested by others.
Its really pretty simple,
Add one mature male to one mature females cage and let the snakes
be snakes,many want you to believe its some outrageously laborious task to breed snakes
, and was wondering if anyone here could give me any info on breeding them? This will be my first attempt and just wondering what I have to do. Specifically what size do they need to be? Whats their cooling temps and how long do I cool them? Any other info would be greatly appreciated.
