I don't think the head will scar. Obviously if its already hard to tell the injuries occured, I'm betting they were shallow enough not to scar. I'm glad that there was no permanent damage or deep cuts ryan!

One of my females was also banged up last month in just about the same way, except that the head "wound" was about twice as wide. She needed a little help shedding the first time, but she's shed twice since and the area is nice an pink. She's starting to get her spots back there so I'm pretty sure she won't scar.

I have several males that I have used over the last few seasons, and 2 of them have done some serious damage to my females over this time. One of my females currently has a damaged right eye due to an over-agressive session with one of these males. Her eye looks damaged and appears to be sitting further out of the socket than her left eye. She also has a piece of skin missing from the middle of her head. I had to take her away from him to allow her to heal, but I am not sure if her eye will ever be 100% better. I feel so bad for her, but I am just glad she can still blink to keep it clean. It's something that is hard to prevent when adults are kept together in breeding groups.

Next time he tells her to bring him a mealworm, she won't be so slow...

I guess one of my females got fed up w/the whole "breeding" idea. My male was in the mood and she wasn't, she heard the little rattle, turned around and shook him by the neck! She left a couple bite marks on him, nothing as bad as what some of you guys have had happen. I'm so glad I was there, she prolly woulda hurt him really bad.
