    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I purchased an adult pair of emerald tree boas that were to be feeding on rats. I tried every species of rodent in live, fresh killed and frozen with zero success. arrived under weight for their size and lethargic. this was 6 months ago and will attempt force feeding next.

Thanks Dennis, I was almost positive I had never heard from them here but was wrong. Thanks for your input also Scott! :)

They are a pet store that deals with alot imports, exotic mammels and birds. To my knowledge they purchase most everything from others and retail them. I inquired about a hognose they had for sale and was told by the salesman "I caught it out back"
We have seen 1,000's of ball pythons piled high in tanks. Same for Green iguanas.
Huge selections but, I don't believe they breed anything themselves (reptiles)

There are worst places to shop but, they are well known for free mites with every purchase.

I purchased a burmese from them, yes we soon got mites, cleared them up..

I have learned alot since and would only buy direct from breeders now.

I've contacted then on two diferent times. tryied buying a couple of snakes from them. I got nothing but attitude from the woman on the phone who must have had better things to do by the way she sounded. I for one will not deal with them. My google search on them brought back some scary stuff about packaging shipping and animals dead on delivery. I know their not a hundred dollar bill and not everyone has to like them to do business with them. I would NOT.

I got a wc baby striped Suriname Boa from them a few days ago. The snake was as advertised and the packaging was up to par. I gathered from my talks with the gentleman from S&S that they did a lot of import sales which I have no problem with. Luckily I have not found any bugs on the snake!
The snake was fed only live while in their care and ate F/T as soon as she settled in later that day.
I can't say anything negative about my dealings with S&S. I hope mine was the rule and not the exception.
Good luck.

The store absolutely reeks. My fiancee will not go in anymore, saying it always makes her feel like she needs to take a bath afterwords. My friend just bought a white lipped python there 3 days ago, and upon getting it home and warmed up, noticed it was bubbling at the mouth. Since they were closed Monday, he called an left a message, then they told him to bring it in Tuesday. Upon taking it to the store, he was told to "keep the heat up" and that was it. No apology, no refund, offer to help with vet costs. The sales staff will say anything for a sale. Just Say No!
