• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Trying persistently to get a hold of Ed Clark via email, Kingsnake and Fauna we need to close out a crested gecko deal. No response after 8-10 attempts. Any info to reach him is appreciated.

Daniel, there is no crested gecko deal to close out! you contacted me months after I sold you some cresties that you had trouble with 2 of those. your inability to keep a gecko from doing poorly is not my problem. you provided no proof of anything, how about posting the fedex reciept on the day you recieved the cresties and also post the email telling me you had a problem.

I told you I was raising up alot of babies and I would be happy to send you 2 of those and I will. Daniel...thats a gift. I also emailed you a couple days ago and told you they are not ready to ship yet. bottom line is I am sending you 2 free geckos when I feel they are ready. if you think I have done anything wrong, just post it.

Why are you lying to the guy?

You have crested geckos up for sale on Kingsnake right now. You just posted the ads over there yesterday.

How can they not be ready when you have them available for sale?
 
Wouldn't want that ad to disappear.

it kinda does depend on What kind of cresteds the guy bought too. if they were just plain jane normals, well thats all he should get. if they are morphs, he should get that morph, but. im going to say that, when did this guy contact ed about sick geckos? is it Eds Fault? or is it the OP?

im all for running scum out. BUT. hows about doing it the right way? Lets see the proof on BOTH sides.

I agree with you 100% Alicia. My issue with Ed Clark in this thread is that he is holding the OP to higher standards than he holds himself. He wants "proof" from the OP here but won't provide it in the form of fecal tests in Emily's thread about the CH animals and the cresties that he may have swindled out of her. I'm not ready to say who is right and who is not, only that I find this particular bit of irony distasteful at the very least, and more so dishonorable. Sadly, given Ed Clark's behavior in the past I am not the least bit surprised.

Good point and I can see it your way.

I was just looking at it from a customer satisfaction stand point. That thing Eddie seems to suck lately at accomplishing. Perhaps quantity isn't really important to Daniel and its about value. Maybe Daniel would be happy with 1 gecko morph of equal value to the two he lost. Not even sure if something like that was offered by Ed or would even be accepted by Daniel, but certainly it seems to me one good way to lay this situation to rest. But then I think about Ed's history and how he likes to suffer himself and his customers for absolutely no reason. Add to that Ed isn't very smart to begin with so he couldn't possibly think of coming up with what I just suggested to prevent these sorts of complaints from ever beginning in the first place.

And as far as the geckos dying and who's fault it may be or when contact was made...to me that really doesn't matter at this point. Whatever happened, Ed agreed to replace them.
 
It needs to be said that in my opinion there is a group of regular sociopaths here that are always out to destroy Ed because of their jealousy and hate. The usual lynch mob. :NoNo:

Mr. Clark seems to be doing s pretty good job of flushing himself down the loo. The rest of us are just here to help him pull the chain.
