In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

You should be arrested for trying to sell a croc as tame. I guess you take no responsibilty for when a kid buys this thing and they get hurt.

Do you think he would just sell it to anyone??? As far as tame goes this croc is pretty mellow. I've personally handled this croc many of times and it has been nothing but calm and tame.

He should be arrested?I bet you don't say that to the importers or leaders at the show yet you wanna criticize him.I'd he's holding it like he is in this post its obvious its tolerant. Also how do you know he selling it to a kid?I see cribs on here all the time haven't seen you post any negative comments on other post hypocrite! You should go to Hell for assuming an judging ppl based on their post.

I'm almost sure this is the same Guy I was going to get a Nile from.we text backand forth a lot about the Nile. He told me exactly how the Nile was. He was very truthfull about everything.I see no reason not to believe Him about The croc monitor.and by the way how many kids do you see running around with a Croc monitor.good luck with your sale

Trust me, if I had more time to spend replying to these ads I would reply to to anyone claiming to sell Crocs as tame and for the most part I do. And yes when I see dealers selling Crocs they are usually pretty ignorant as well. You know, I would hope, how dangerous these animals are and can be. So don't play stupid and act like you are going to sell a croc to someone and once that animal arrives in their new home (environment) their personality doesn't change while they are going through their acclimation period and act defensively and bite someone. Or maybe you really don't know and maybe you are stupid and ignorant and don't care about putting some kid or adult in jeopardy once they get this animal in their home. And how do you know whether or not a kid is going to buy this croc. Kid or adult, what does that matter? Injuries are injuries! I have had more experience with these crocs than you are old. Any respected reptile keeper knows this as well. And go ahead and report me to Fauna because I am done dealing with you idiots and I just hope that one day you retards don't get it to the point where we can't keep these animals legally anymore.

I'm not knocking Anything your saying. I think most people know what there getting into.I am getting a large tame Nile and I have had them before but you better believe when it gets here I will take no chances until I get to know it and it gets to know meeting

That's respectable but we all know that not everyone else is like you. We all know that a lot of people will get this guy home and be excited about it and want to hold it right away and show all of their freinds. And I don't mean to be critical of everyone or take shots, but Crocs are very serious business and let's be honest, we all see that the majority of people keeping reptiles aren't the most responsible....sorry but it is true.

Wow.. Do you feel better now? Someone finally payed attention but I'm not going too, so move on and try doing something a bit more constructive with you time buddy.

Thanks.

Wow frijef, thats a serious statment to make, he should be arrested? I dont see many kids running around with $1,250.00 to spend on a reptile and even if they do its the parents job to monitor what their kids are buying. Also, i think that most of us on here that are looking at this add know what this animal is capable of and the damage it can inflict. with that being said, its rare to see anyone free handling a croc without ANY type of protection! if this was my animal i would describe it exactly as inkedreptiledude is. becausethe truth is, for a croc monitor, this IS tame. its like saying a lion is "tame". its all relative to the animal being discussed. p.s i am a croc monitor owner and have been for several years. GLWS i wish i could add her to my collection.

This is not a discussion forum, nor is it a chat area. Unless you are interacting with the seller toward a potential purchase, your comments do not belong here.

hey malcom, sorry you are getting such negativety about lucy man , she sure looks tame to me and to add to this i take crocs like i take pit bulls , they have a bad rep for being mean and i will say not ever animal is like all of them , theres always some that can be more calmer then most and more acceptable to human contact , i got 6 caiman lizards and only 2 of them are calmer then the rest , but i will say from what ive seen from lucy his crocodile monitor , she is really calm and can accept human contact but it doest mean one day she will have and off day , thats any reptile , ive seen adult asain water monitors puppy dog tame but one day just snap , so it depends how they are treated and how you feed them , if you dont feed them enough they mite get a little mean and aggressive , but anyway , good luck with your sale bro , and trust me i know he wont sale her to just anyone but who ever gets her is sure to have a great croc monitor ! THANKS

Nice croc man wish I had the space for one that big an tolerant i'd be selling her for more.nev3r mind the guy attacking you for selling her misery loves company a venomous snake will kill you in minutes no ones complaining about that.If they make them illegal then you won't have anything to complain about jeff. They have been banning animals coming from Africa into certain states here in the U.S. cause of certain tics their bringing in.

Also calm down no ones reporting you to fauna lol/You're paranoid!I'm not the fauna police.

You're all kids. So let's see how many are you??? Why do you think Pro Exotics and other "respected" dealers don't deal with crocs anymore. Go ahead and ask them. I guess you have more knowledge than them also? If these crocs are so tame, why are you selling them? These aren't baseball cards you are trading! I think someone didn't know what they were getting into when they originally bought the animal??? Or wait, is the 20 gallon aquarium that you are storing them in getting too small? Putting that animal in the shower!!!! I'm sure that wasn't stressful on the animal????? I'm through dealing with you "KIDS".......waiting on my next infraction......waiting

Okay even tho I have no reason to I'll explain, she gets free roam of her room and has an 8x4x4 enclosure, and I give her showers weekly because she enjoys warm showers, and if you follow the link I've posted in the ad you'd see how much 'stress' she is in wen she's in the shower. And I'm not those other people nor am I claiming to know everything about croc monitors.. But this girl here is well taken care of and I put a lot of time and money into all my animals.. For instance I've spent well over 2 grand for an enclosure for my pair of Caiman lizards that they will out grow in no more than a year. But anywhichway I've asked you to move on so be a sport and stop posting here

this is a beautiful animal, and anyone that knows anything about monitors, always handles them with abit of caution no matter how tame they are! I strongly agree with the lion comment!!! I don't think anyone is dumb enough to think a pet named after a crocodile is a snuggle pet! What are you doing here Jeffrey fritz??? this is a reptiles & amphibian classified site! you want to be rude go flag someone on CRAIGSLIST! I'm sure thats your other part time job!

Malcom, beautiful animal and i have no doubt in what you claim her disposition to be (I've worked with crocs for quite a while) and you seem to know what your doing and are doing it well. At this moment I do not have the money, but down the road (next month or so) provided the animal is still available, would you be interested in working out a payment plan? Thanks!

Nice looking Croc! I wish i had the cash to drop on it! Maybe ill come up with the cash by the end of the month. Hey frijef u seem to have a lot of anger directed at people for no apparent reason. If you direct this kind of negativity toward other reptile keepers instead of trying to help them I can only imagine how your unhappy you most be with your immediate social life. I feel bad for your reptiles if you have the same inpatients with them as you do with people. I also love how you keep bringing the age card up. Just because someone is younger than yourself doesn't mean they don't have good knowledge or input to share with others.

Beautiful croc but lot's of misinformation in this thread. Crocs are not tame. They can be tolerant of people but they're also very unpredictable making them potentially dangerous. Holding a large croc is an accident waiting to happen. A croc bite is serious stuff.

I have three crocs. My largest male is 8' 9", he's one of the biggest in captivity. My female is about 7 feet and I have a smaller female that's about 5'. The croc pictured in this ad is about the size of my small female.

She's a beautiful animal and I'm sure she can be held after a shower or when cool. They're under stress in these situations and, if you're lucky, they won't react.

I'm not at all trying to be negative. Very few people know what they're getting into when they buy these large monitors. Anyone looking for an animal to hold or pet should take a pass. If you have the finances and space to support an animal like this you'll really enjoy it as a captive. My male is in a 15' x 15' x 12' enclosure and it's hardly large enough.

Anyway, good luck with the sale. She appears to be in excellent health.

Here's an 8+' croc for reference. As you can see, he's not warm and cuddly. :) This picture is at least a year old. He's since grown.
